CHANCE IT TO STAND AT WILLOW HILL EQUESTRIAN FOR 2025 SEASON

Williston, FL— Shooting Star Thoroughbreds’ Chance It (Currency Swap-Vagabon Diva, by Pleasantly Perfect) will stand at Willow Hill Equestrian located in Orange, Virginia in 2025. This highly recommended facility is owned and operated by Sarah and Tommy Doyle, both lifelong horse professionals that are known for their devoted care and high standards.

After standing three years in Florida at renowned Journeyman Stud, an opportunity arose leading to

the decision to relocate Chance It to the state of Virginia for stallion duties in 2025. “We appreciate the dedication and excellent stallion management that Brent and Crystal Fernung and their team provided Chance It at their facility,” said Shooting Star General Manager Mary Lightner. “We evaluated which  direction would make the most impact for Chance It as a maturing stallion moving forward and arrived at the decision that Virginia met our criteria best.”

Standing in Virginia will allow Chance It to be eligible for all of the advantages the Virginia Thoroughbred Association (VTA) stallion and breeder benefits and incentives have to offer. Stallion benefits are lucrative and present bonuses for racing results achieved not only within the state of Virginia but beyond to all North American thoroughbred racetracks. The rewards are not merely financially beneficial but allow a path for Chance It’s visibility as a stallion to gain traction across multiple regions.

Chance It amassed $583,330 in career earnings winning multiple stakes from six furlongs to over a mile at two, and was named FTBOA Champion 2-year-old in 2019. At three, he won the Mucho Macho Man Stakes and at four was graded stakes placed, finishing third in the G1 Forego Stakes and second in the G3 Smile Sprint Invitational Stakes. His first-crop yearlings will soon be two-year-olds in January 2025. His fee for 2025 will be $2,000, live foal, stands and nurses.
